The skills to network with classmates and people in your industry are one of the best parts about attending business school. While getting your education the contacts you make can serve you through your entire career.

Find the most of your networking opportunities with these tips:

1. Talk to Your Classmates
Consider your classmates were accepted to business school for a reason: they have potential. Networking directly with your business school classmates, you build relationships with people who will end up with important jobs in your industry. Your classmates possibly can be potential business partners, employers, employees, suppliers, or clients. While you are still peers, getting to know them is an opportunity you don't want to pass up.

2. Join, Join, Join
Mainly all business schools offer a wide range of activities that are directly related to your program or industry. Try to join as many of these activities as you reasonably have time for. They offer important networking opportunities that can't be found anywhere else. People you can meet in your free time could turn into lifelong contacts. Regular contacts in specific groups and activities also give you something to put on your resume after you get out of school.

3. Start Your Own Organization
If you’re not able find enough networking events to keep you busy while you are in business school, consider starting your own organization. Study groups, mixers and even book clubs provide a wonderful chance to network, especially when you control who is invited.
